What’s Kaleidoscope?
Kaleidoscope is a 2,000-person Girl Scout weekend camporee that takes place in Santa Barbara County every two years. K2008 is already shaping up to be a great time filled with fun, sharing, new experiences and challenges. Kaleidoscope is possible because of the dedication and hard work of a large group of volunteers who call themselves the Kaleidoscope Steering Committee and over 300 adult volunteers who attend the event both with and without troops.
What is the theme for Kaleidoscope 2008?
Let your imagination run through time with the exciting Kaleidoscope 2008 theme, “A Moment in Time!” With this theme, your troop will be able to explore the past, present, and future. Get crazy and creative as you venture through time.
Are there still positions available on the Kaleidoscope Steering Committee?
Yes! There are positions left on this fun volunteer team. Fill out the Adult Volunteer Sign Up Form below for a position that sparks your interests and submit it to the program director as soon as possible.
Who can attend Kaleidoscope?
Kaleidoscope is a weekend geared to troops of Junior Girl Scouts and troops of Girl Scouts in 6th through 12th grades with prior camping experience. It is a progressive step in the Girl Scout program and something Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts can look forward to. Girl Scouts from all over California are invited to attend.
